Arizona Landscape Companies is an independent directory compiled from public business records, each company's own website and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors posting list. It is rebuilt from the data rather than edited by hand. No business pays to appear or to move up the list, and nothing here is a recommendation or an endorsement.
Why this directory exists
Search for a landscaper in Arizona and the first screen is ads, a map pack of three, and then a run of pages that are either lead brokers selling your phone number on or short lists of companies that paid to be on them. Underneath that, the word "landscaper" covers very different businesses: crews that design and build a yard from bare dirt, crews that mow and blow every week, irrigation specialists, turf installers, and plenty of supply yards and nurseries that will sell you the materials but not do the job.
This directory tries to separate those. It lists the companies that do landscape work, city by city, with what each one says it does on its own website, and the Registrar of Contractors licence attached where one could be matched. Companies that confirm they design and install come first on each city page. Nobody pays to be on here and nobody pays to move up it.
How listings are vetted
This directory starts from a statewide export of Arizona businesses on Google Maps in landscaping categories. Each company's own website was then read, and businesses that turned out to be supply yards, nurseries, handymen, tree-only services or something else entirely were removed. What remains is a list of companies that do landscape work. It is not a judgement about quality, and it is not a licence check.
Companies that design and build yards and companies that maintain them are both listed, because homeowners look for both. What separates them on the page is the service tags, which come from each company's own website, and the Designs and installs badge, which goes to companies that say plainly that they build or install.
Licence numbers come from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors posting list dated 7 October 2026, matched by the number a company publishes on its own site or by business name and city. A listing with no number is not a listing without a licence; it is a listing we could not match with confidence, and it says exactly that.
Nothing here is vetting in the sense of having met anyone, visited a job site or checked insurance. Before you sign a contract or pay a deposit, look the company up yourself at roc.az.gov, where the licence record and any complaints sit side by side.
Right now that is 1,953 companies across 67 Arizona city pages, carrying 53,003 Google reviews between them. The whole directory is rebuilt from the data rather than edited by hand, so every count on every page moves together. Last rebuilt 2026-10-10.
What this site does not do
It does not rank companies by how good they are, because there is no way to know that from public records. The order on a city page is: companies that confirm design and installation first, then rating and review count. That is an ordering rule, not an opinion.
It does not verify insurance, bonding, workmanship or whether a company is currently taking jobs. It does not republish review text or photographs from Google. And it does not treat a missing licence number as a finding. A match either happened or it did not, and the listing says which.
Corrections and removals
If something about your business is wrong, email info@arizonalandscapecompanies.com with what it should say and it will be changed at the next rebuild, normally within a week. If you want your listing gone, say so and it comes down. No reason needed.
Owners can also claim a listing to take over the details.
