Pavers and Hardscape in Tucson, AZ

Tucson has 50 companies that build pavers and hardscape, drawn from 225 landscape companies listed in the city, and 48 of them also design and install whole landscapes. Pool builders barely figure: only 2 of the 50 list pools. Tucson paver work is mostly done by landscape contractors and by a cluster of firms that pair turf with stone, rather than by companies building decks around new pools.

Several businesses here make hardscape part of their name or their main pitch. Blue Ribbon describes itself as a paver and hardscape company and lists concrete, clay, permeable and porcelain pavers, natural stone, stamped concrete and retaining walls; it could not be matched on the ROC list, so ask for its licence number. Beyond Brick Tucson Inc. installs paver driveways, courtyards, walkways and masonry, and is matched to a KB-2 general contractor licence. A&J Hardscapes Custom landscapes, matched to CR-21, builds paver and travertine patios and driveways, block walls and fire pits, and lists paver repair. Oakswood Turf & Hardscape, also CR-21, sets pavers and block walls and offers paver cleaning and steam washing afterwards.

Artificial turf appears on 32 of the 50 sites, the same number that offer design plans. Irrigation shows up on 27, outdoor kitchens and fire pits on 25, and lighting on 23. A few companies only care for what is already built. Keep It Up Artificial Turf Care, for instance, offers paver infill refresh and sealing as part of turf maintenance, which suits an existing patio but is a different job from a new one.
